All students that are TSI Incomplete in one or more areas will be required to address it through enrollment in a Co-requisite intervention.
What is a Co-requisite?
In 2017 the Texas Legislature passed HB 2223 requiring Co-requisite courses to become the primary mode of instruction for Developmental Education. The NCB Co-requisite Success Program provides these Co-requisite courses in Math and Writing, where students are able to take a college-level course along with a support course (NCB) in the same area during one semester.
Co-requisite Courses
As part of the NCB Support Course students have access to just-in-time content specialized to the college-level course, as well as embedded support with in-class and supplemental tutoring. The smaller class sizes provide for more personalized attention from the instructors and tutors.

Math
TSI Complete in Math: TSI 950+ or TSI 910-949 WITH Diagnostic 6.
TSI Incomplete: TSI 910-949 WITH Diagnostic 5.
TSI incomplete students will take one of the following Co-requisite courses.
Co-requisite courses allow students to take a Support course + College Credit course in the SAME semester.

TSI 945+ WITH an Essay of 1-4.
OR TSI 910-944 with an Essay of 1-4, and Diagnostic 1-6
OR TSI 910-944 with an Essay of 1-8, and Diagnostic 1-4.
