Use your writing skills to earn a scholarship!

The Writing Program offers two scholarships each fall and spring semester to support UTSA students enrolled in Freshman Composition I (WRC 1013) and Freshman Composition II (WRC 1023). 

Implement what you've learned in your WRC class to submit a stellar informative or persuasive essay that includes multiple sources that are properly cited.

Scholarship winners must agree to have their name, photograph, and essay published in any UTSA media.
