Bio
Dr. Debra Peña earned a BA in Business from Concordia Lutheran University at Austin in 2006, an M.A. in English from UTSA in 2009, and a Doctorate in English from UTSA in 2015. She joined The Writing Program in 2017 but has taught at UTSA, in various roles, since 2010.
Debra is a native of Georgia but has lived in and around San Antonio since 1983. She is an avid reader, book collector, writer, and loves traveling.
