Bio
Darren has been teaching at UTSA for more than a decade. He has taught composition and literature in many places throughout the world. His writing classes tend to focus on social and psychological issues, and says his priorities in the classroom are to present students with tools to make the writing process easier and being accessible and present for anyone taking his class.
When he’s not teaching or grading papers, you might find Darren playing Frisbee or dock diving with his dog. He also has a little side hustle doing compliance and bookkeeping work.
