Bio
I was born and raised on the South Side of San Antonio. I graduated from The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2009 and a Masters of Science in Kinesiology in 2011. During my time at UIW I played collegiate softball for 4 years. In 2023, I earned my PhD in Organizational Leadership from UIW.
Prior to teaching at UTSA, I worked for Texas A&M San Antonio for 4 years teaching in the Kinesiology and in the FYS department.
I have very active children (1 boy and 2 girls). I am also a dog mom of a very mischievous maltipoo. I played collegiate softball about a million years ago for UIW as did my husband.
I am honored to be teaching the students at UTSA.
