What is University College?

Athletics are often referred to as the front porch of a university. Using a similar metaphor, UC is the kitchen of the university.  A place where we try recipes for new programs, bake them and test them out. A place students come to be nourished, so they can flourish in life. UC is one of nine colleges on campus and one of the only colleges that interacts with almost every new student as they start their journey at UT San Antonio. We are home to Academic Introduction and Strategies (AIS), Multidisciplinary Studies, The Writing Program, Dual Credit, and Army and Air Force ROTC.
