Assistant Professor of Practice, Academic Introduction & Strategies
I joined the Roadrunner family in January of 2025 as an Assistant Professor of Academic Introduction and Strategies. I primarily teach students in the Engineering, Mathematics, and Science pathway. It is my goal to help STEM majors explore their career options and make the most of their college experience.
I received my B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2012 and my M.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2024. I worked as a K-12 science educator for 10 years before moving into higher education. My professional interests include education, conservation, and mentoring students of all ages.
