Bio

Professor Kaur joined the University of Texas at San Antonio in Fall 2004. She holds a Master’s degree in English, with a focus on literature from the Middle English period through Twentieth-Century English Literature, as well as a Bachelor's degree in English with Honors, specializing in the English Renaissance and the Neoclassical period. In addition to teaching writing courses in face-to-face and online asynchronous modalities and serving on several department and college-level committees, Prof. Kaur teaches “Global: Writing Beyond Boundaries” - topic-aligned courses. She is an Advanced Certified ACUE Fellow at UTSA.

Outside the classroom, in her spare time, Professor Kaur enjoys painting, taking long walks, watching TV, reading a good book, trying new recipes, decorating her house, and spending time with her loved ones. Prof. Kaur is also an animal lover. She has rescued several dogs and has even adopted one as her own.
