Bio
I earned my doctoral degree in Education from the University of Hawaii. My career spans educational non-profit development, higher education, and K-12 public education.
My teaching philosophy is to always remember my own student experiences and value students’ stories.
I have received several teaching awards and am a member of various professional organizations, staying updated with the latest in education.
My research focuses on curriculum addressing loss, death, and grief in educational settings.
